Borden Parish Council are pleased to advise you
of a "village clean up" on 25th june 2005.

A freighter will visit the Parish on Saturday, 25th June from 9.30a.m. It will collect all items with just a few exceptions. Large blocks of concrete cannot be taken; paint pots must be empty or nearly empty and oil containers must be empty. Fridges and freezers cannot now be taken. If you have any such items for disposal please ring 01795 417850 and arrangements will be made for disposal free of charge.

All other metals will be collected but not by the refuse freighter. Another vehicle will follow the freighter for such items.

Please leave all items at the front of your property. If you have any large or heavy items which you will have difficulty in moving to the front, please ring 01795 417482 beforehand.
