B.M.R.A. site inspection of traffic issues with local politicians

Further to the meeting held in June, representatives from Kent County Council, Swale Borough Council, Bloor Homes and the local M.P. Derek Wyatt, along with B.M.R.A. committee members will be inspecting traffic issues and problems on-site; this is set to take place in September 2005. There is a list of the issues which were discussed previously and will be investigated available to view on-line.

Previously we have been frustrated by the lack of progress despite being promised urgent action on a number of these issues (by Swale Borough Council) as far back as February of this year. However it is hoped that by gathering all the relevant organisations together in one place, the organisations in question will not be able to "pass the buck" on the responsibilities for each issue.

We will report any progress on the situation via the website and newsletters when the on-site inspection has occured.
